With a wide range of styles and sizes, steel grating serves versatile applications in everyday life, including stair treads, walkways, platforms, flooring, trench covers, wheeled equipment, security screens, and heavy-duty constructions.

Swage Locked Grating
Welded bar grating is also called metal open bar grating. Welded bar grating, also known as metal open bar grating, comes in two types: smooth and serrated. Smooth, or plain steel bar grating, is more popular, but serrated grating offers better skid resistance.
Made from low carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum, is created by bonding slotted bars under hydraulic pressure. It's strong, durable, and widely used in industrial and commercial applications like stair treads, platforms, walkways, and covers. Serrated surfaces enhance anti-slip properties.
Swage locked grating, mainly made of aluminum or stainless steel bars, is formed by inserting cross bars into pre-punched bearing bars and locking them under hydraulic pressure. It comes in three bearing bar types: rectangular, T, and I bars, with I bars being lighter and more affordable.

Pickling
High-grade steel grating is typically pickled after production to remove scale and discoloration caused by welding, which can lead to corrosion. During the pickling process, the grating is submerged in a bath that cleanses the surface, leaving it metallically pure and corrosion-resistant.
Hot dip galvanizing
Hot-dipped galvanized steel grating involves submerging the steel grating in molten zinc, a process called galvanization. This forms a strong metallurgical bond between the zinc and the steel, resulting in a durable, corrosion-resistant protective layer.
Powder coating
Powder coating is a cost-effective, durable way to color grating. The process includes degreasing, pickling, zinc-phosphating, and electrostatic powder application, then baking at 180°C. For enhanced corrosion protection, this coating combines hot-dip galvanizing with powder coating. Available in all RAL colors, with different gloss levels and textures.
